Getting Started

Kaptio DX is a web application — there is nothing to install. You sign in with your organization identity (Keycloak), and your role determines which areas of the app you see.

You sign in via Keycloak to Kaptio DX, which has four areas — Data Management, Scratch Orgs, Test, and Config — and Data Management imports from and exports to your Salesforce orgs

The four areas

Area	What it does	Who sees it
Data Management	Import and export records, metadata, and configurations between Salesforce orgs and cloud storage	Everyone (guests get a simplified view)
Scratch Orgs	Create, manage, and delete scratch orgs; org pools and pipelines	Signed-in users
Test	Run E2E test suites against orgs	Signed-in users
Config	Scratch org definitions and post-creation scripts	Admins
