Records Import & Export

Move Salesforce data records between orgs via a central dataset.

Six steps: choose the source connection and objects, Kaptio DX queries the org, the export is saved as a central dataset; then pick the dataset and target connection, DX imports the records, and a result report shows successes and failures

Export​

  1. Open Data Management → Records → Export.
  2. Choose the source connection (org).
  3. Select the objects to export.
  4. Run the export. The result is saved as a dataset.

Import​

  1. Open Data Management → Records → Import.
  2. Pick the dataset to import.
  3. Choose the target connection (org).
  4. Run the import and review the result report.
